The WordPress MCP Adapter: A bridge for autonomous AI interaction.

The Future of AI in WordPress

WordPress will evolve into a self-optimizing, AI-native platform where manual maintenance is a relic of the past, and AI agents collaborate seamlessly with human creators.

In the near future, we expect WordPress to become truly “AI-first.” This means that the CMS will not just be a repository for content, but an active participant in the creative and technical process. The WordPress MCP adapter is the first step toward this reality, providing a standardized way for AI agents to understand site structure, manage taxonomies, and even refactor code safely.
